Head Coach

Jerry Zhang

Jerry has been coaching for 20 years, since retiring from his swimming career. A former elite National Level swimmer, he has gained a lot of experience through swimming and coaching. To date he has coached more than a hundred swimmers. He has been Assistant Coach to various Top Level Chinese Coaches. He has also held the position of Head Coach for Yanlord Garden Swimming Club in Shanghai. Jerry has a strong passion for coaching and strives to assist all club swimmers in achieving their full potential.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Physical Education Degree
  • ASCTA Silver Level (theory)
  • ASCTA Open Water Coach Certificate
  • CSA Level 2 coach.

 

     Assistant Coach

    Marie Greco

    Throughout her degree Marie has undertaken courses such as physiology and sports nutrition which she has been able to utilise throughout her coaching in assisting swimmers. As a former swimmer with the Henley and Grange Swimming Cub she has a strong passion for swimming and thoroughly enjoys educating future swimmers and providing continual support in all aspects of swimming life.

    Qualifications include:

    • ASCTA Competitive Stroke Certificate
    • Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Food Science UNI-SA.

     

    Club Strength and Conditioning Trainer

    Phillip Saridakis

    Phil has 18 years’ experience as a strength conditioning trainer. He worked with Olympic swimmers during the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney alongside the Australian Olympic swim team coach Rick Payne.

    Phillip is a National and International fitness presenter. Teams he has worked with and trained include:

    Sturt and West Torrens League Football Teams, Garville Netballers, the Redbacks, the Nebraska Cornhuskers American College Football Team, Croydon Kings Soccer Team and the Vipers Football Club.

    He is a registered Physiotherapist and has been nominated South Australian Fitness Professional of the year in 2000, 2002 and 2006.

    Phil is the founder of the Aquanautics training program which he has presented at NASA.
